issued or the same shall be sold, shall be submitted to the
registered voters of said town, at an election to be held on
the second Saturday in the month of April in the year nine-
teen hundred and six; the polls to be opened at nine A. M.
and closed at seven P. M., and the Mayor of said town of
Laurel shall give notice of said election for the purposes
of this Act by advertisement inserted in all the newspapers
published in said town before said day of election and by
handbills posted in at least five public places in said town
at least five days before said election, in which advertisement
a copy of this Act shall be inserted in at least one newspaper;
but a failure to give notice shall not invalidate the election,
nor affect the validity of this Act, nor operate to prevent its
taking effect.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That said election shall be con-
ducted by the supervisors, judges, and clerks, appointed or

to be appointed under the provisions of Section 109 A of
the Act of nineteen hundred and four, Chapter 111 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, who shall perform
all the duties and take the oaths by said section prescribed ;
and at said election all persons registered prior to said second
Saturday in April, nineteen hundred and six, as qualified
voters under said Act of 1904, Chapter 111, shall be entitled
to vote, and the ballot for said elections shall be prepared by
the Supervisors of Elections of said town as far as prac-
ticable, in accordance with Section 194D of said Act of 1904,.
Chapter 111, at least five days before said second Saturday
in April, 1906; said ballot to be, however, as far as practica-
ble, in form as follows :
