of Myersville a proportion of the franchise tax paid by
the Savings Banks and other institutions and corporations
located within the taxable limits of Myersville, in said
county.

CHAP. 24

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall be the duty of County Commissioners of
Frederick county to pay over annually to the Burgess and
Council of Myersville one-fourth of the franchise tax the
said County Commissioners shall receive under the provi-
sions of Section 86 of Article 81 of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland from every savings bank, insti-
tution, or corporation organized for receiving deposits of
money and paying interest thereon, located within the taxa-
ble limits of Myersville, and having its principal office
therein.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 24.
AN ACT to repeal and to re-enact with amendments Section
178 D of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Anne Arundel County," sub-title "Justices of the Peace
and Constables," as enacted by Chapter 640 of the Acts
of 1904.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 178 D of Article 2 of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel County," sub-title "Justices
of the Peace and Constables," as enacted by Chapter 640 of
the Acts of 1904, be and same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as follows :
178 D. The constables of Anne Arundel county, except in

to the fees prescribed by the now existing laws for the par-
ticular services rendered, except the fee allowed for serving
summons for witnesses and return, and for such services
they shall, be allowed the sum of twenty-five cents for each

returned and for each additional witness the sum of five
