SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That in order to prevent sand,
clay or gravel from wasting upon any county roads of the

Thirteenth Election District of Baltimore county, all carts
and wagons hauling clay, sand or gravel shall have tight
bottoms, fronts, side boards and tail boards, and that there
shall always be a clear space of at least one inch between the
top of the load of sand, clay or gravel (as the case may be)
and the top of the front board, side board and tail board of
all such carts and wagons hauling sand, clay or gravel, and
in no event shall the tail board be lower than the side board.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That each and every violation of

any provision of this Act shall be a misdemeanor punishable
by a fine of ten dollars and costs, to be imposed upon the
offender by any justice of the peace of the State of Maryland
in and for Baltimore county, to be collected as other fines
are collected, one-half of said fine shall go the informer and
the balance thereof to the highways commission of Balti-
more county, to be applied by them to the repair of the
county roads of said district.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from and after the first day of January, 1907.

AN ACT exempting the Eagles' Club of Frederick City
from the provisions of the Act of Assembly of 1898,
Chapter 246.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

are hereby exempted from the provisions of the Act of
Assembly of 1898, Chapter 246.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
