CHAP. 776
Repeal.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly oj Mary-
land, That Sections 2, 3, 5 and 6 of the Act of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1898, Chapter 498, be and the
same are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 776.
AN ACT to repeal Section 263 of Article 24 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Worcester County," sub-title
"State's Attorney," and to re-enact the same as amended.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 263 of Article 24 of the Code of Public

Repeal and
re-enact.

Local Laws, title "Worcester County," sub-title "State's
Attorney," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
so as to read as follows :
Section 263. The County Commissioners are required to
allow and levy for the use of the State's attorney for Wor-
|

fees allowed.
|
cester county, in all cases which may be hereafter tried by
him in said county, the fees following, to wit: In any case
where the punishment for the offense charged may be death,
twenty-five dollars; in any case where the offense charged is
punishable not by death, but by confinement in the peniten-
tiary, ten dollars; in all other criminal cases, five dollars.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 777.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 4 of the Public
Local Laws of Maryland, as the same was amended and
re-enacted by Chapter 123 of the Acts of 1898, title
"City of Baltimore," sub-title "Special Fund," said new
section to come under said sub-title, and to follow imme-
diately after Section 777 A, and to be known and desig-
nated as Section 777 B.
