Baltimore and counties of the State of Maryland, and that

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the aggregate of the

capital stock of the said corporation so formed shall be
$780,000, and that the said capital stock shall be divided
into six thousand shares of the par value of $130 per share,
subject to the right of the General Assembly to alter or
amend this Act, and subject to all of the laws of this State
relating to corporations applicable thereto.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 763.

AN ACT to authorize the Johnston Hospital for girls, and
school and home for nurses of Baltimore city, to increase
the number of its managers to more than twelve and not
more than twenty, and to fix from time to time by its
by-laws the number of corporators or managers necessary
to constitute a quorum at meetings thereof, and to provide
for maintaining succession.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Johnston Hospital for girls, and school and

general incorporation laws of Maryland in the year 1884 for
the purely charitable objects of providing hospital accom-
modation for girls and a training-school and home for
nurses, and whose charter was made perpetual by an Act of
