the Northern Central Railway, and thence southwardly
bounding on said eastern outline to the place of beginning.
The, said Roland Park Electric and Water Company shall
have full power and authority to manufacture, buy, distribute,
supply, sell or otherwise dispose of electricity for the pur-
poses of illumination, heat or power, and for the transaction
of any business in which electricity, over or through wires,
may be applied to any useful purposes and within the said
territorial limits and not outside of said limits, except as
hereinafter provided; the said company shall have the
power, and it is hereby authorized to construct, lay, erect,
maintain and operate, under, on or above the ground, wires,
poles, conduits, tubes, pipes and other works and appliances
which may be desired or required by said company for said
purposes, or any of them, and to this end use land, rights of
way or franchises owned, controlled or acquired by it, and
the public highways of Baltimore county and Baltimore city
within the said territorial limits; and the said company may
also furnish electric light and power to the Tuxedo Exchange
of the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company, and
may furinsh electric light and power to any persons now
occupying or hereafter to occupy lands now owned or here-
after to be acquired by the Roland Park Company of Balti-
more city, lying between Charles street avenue, Lake avenue,
Belvedere avenue and the Northern Central Railway; and

the said company may also furnish electric light and power to
any persons now occupying or hereafter to occupy lands now
owned or hereafter "to be acquired by the Roland Park Com-
pany of Baltimore city lying within the following territorial
limits: Beginning at the point of intersection of the northern
corporate limits of Baltimore city with the east side of
Roland avenue; thence southerly along the east side of Roland
avenue to the north side of Fourth avenue; thence east-
wardly along the north side of Fourth avenue to Cedar
avenue; thence by a straight line due east to the west side
of Charles street avenue; thence northerly along the west
side of Charles street avenue to the northern corporate
limits of Baltimore city; thence westerly along the northern
corporate limits of Baltimore city to the place of beginning
provided, however, that the use by said company of the
public highways of Baltimore county shall be under such
regulations as to construction, maintenance and repair, and
