county; excepting, however, from the operation of this Act,
any persons or body corporate conducting a distillery situate
in said Burkittsville district.

Section 311 Q. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That any person who may wish to sell spirituous

limits of said city of Burkittsville, in said Frederick county,
shall, after complying with all the provisions of existing
laws, pay to the clerk of the Circuit Court for said county,
for a license authorizing such sale, the sum of one hundred
dollars in addition to the price now fixed by Article 56 of
the Code of Public General Laws, and Chapter 201 of the
Acts of Assembly, passed at the session of 1892, and said
license shall not be issued for a less period than one year.
