CHAP 530

Repeal and
re-enact.

at the Session of 1898, entitled " An Act to incorporate the
Frederick, Thurmont and Northern Railway Company," as
amended by Chapter 634 of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, passed at the Session of 1900, changing
the name of said corporation to " The Washington, Frederick
and Gettysburg Railway Company," and enlarging its
powers, be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted,
so as to read as follows :

Section 8. And be it enacted, That the property, real and

personal, of said railway company, its stocks and bonds,
rights and revenues, shall be exempt from taxation, except
for State purposes only, for the period of ten years from the
time its road, or any part thereof, is completed and in operar
tion, and shall, after the expiration of said ten years be

county and municipal purposes; provided, however, that the
County Commissioners of Frederick county concur in this
section by action of their board, at a meeting duly called
for that purpose.

AN ACT to prevent the sale of Spirituous or Fermented
Liquors in the Beaver Creek District, being Election Dis-
trict No. 16, in Washington county, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall not be lawful for the clerk of the Circuit
