being Election District No. 16, in Washington county, Mary-
land.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 522.
AN ACT to authorize and direct the Mayor and City Coun-
cil of Baltimore to appropriate a sum of money (out of the
Burnt District Benefit Assessment Fund) for the erection
at St. Mary's Industrial School of a building or buildings
for the care and maintenance of boys in that Institution
ten years of age and under, and for furnishing and equip-
ping the same.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore be and
it is hereby authorized and directed to appropriate (out of
the benefit assessment derived or to be derived by it from
the workings of Chapter 87 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland for the year 1904, commonly known
as the Burnt District Commission Act), the sum of fifty
thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary,
for the erection of a building or buildings at St. Mary's
Industrial School for the care and maintenance of boys in
that institution ten years of age and under, and for furnish-
ing and equipping the same.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 523.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter 607 of the Acts of 1904, and to
re-enact the same with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or cor-
poration to sell, furnish or give away any cocaine, eucaine,
