CHAPTER 519.

AN ACT to amend Article 22 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, entitled " Washington County," sub-title "Hagers-
town," by adding a new section thereto, to follow imme-
diately after Section 171, and to be known as Section 171 A.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws,
entitled "Washington County," sub-title "Hagerstown,"
be and the same is hereby amended by adding a new section,
to follow immediately after Section 171, and to be known as
Section 171 A.
171 A. Whenever a property owner has laid a pavement,
curb or gutter, according; to a grade given by the Mayor and

Council, and any change may thereafter be made in such
pavement, curb or gutter by order of the Mayor and Council,
all cost of such change shall be paid by said Mayor and
Council.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 520.

AN Act to repeal Sections 8 and 12 of Chapter 514 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the
Session of 1898, entitled " An Act to incorporate the
Frederick, Thurmont and Northern Railway Company,"
as amended by Chapter 634 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed at the Session of 1900,
changing the name of said corporation and enlarging its
powers, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections eight (8) and twelve (12) of Chapter 514
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
