during the fiscal year ending May 30, 1906, so much of the
unappropriated surplus in the County treasury, or due the
same, as may be necessary for ordinary road purposes,
including the repair and improvements of existing roads and
bridges, and the opening and construction of new roads and
construction of new bridges, the word roads to be taken to
embrace public highways of every character, and the treas-
urer of Baltimore county is hereby directed to pay out said
surplus funds on the order of the said Highways Commis-
sion as by law provided.

Repeal.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all Acts or parts of Acts
inconsistent with this Act be and the same are hereby
repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 9.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter 593 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of the Acts of 1904, entitled "An
Act to provide for the better protection of sheep, poultry
and game in the fourth election district of Queen Anne's
county, and known as Kent Island District, and, if. possi-
ble, to make provisions for the reduction of the number
of dogs and bitches to a minimum in said fourth election
district of Queen Anne's county."

Repeal.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 593 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of the Acts of 1904, entitled "An Act to provide
for the better protection of steep, poultry and game in the
fourth election district of Queen Anne's county, and known
as Kent Island District, and, if possible, to make provision
for the reduction of the number of dogs and bitches to a
minimum in said fourth election district of Queen Anne's
county," be and the same is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
