CHAP. 632.

Various gifts,
bequests,
etc.,
sanctioned.

One" Hundred and Three. To the two following deeds and
conveyances to the trustees of the Seventh Baptist Church of
Baltimore, a body corporate, to wit : (1) A deed from Jacob
E. Thomas and M. Ada Thomas, his wife, dated December 2,
1901, and recorded among the Land Records of Baltimore
city in Liber R. O., No. 1933, folio 189, etc.; (2) A deed from
the Roland Park Company of Baltimore city, a body corpo-
rate, bearing date February 19, 1902, and recorded among the
Land Records of Baltimore county in Liber N. B. M., No.
259, folio 229, etc.

One Hundred and Four. To the grant and conveyance to
the trustees of the Relay Methodist Episcopal Church of
Baltimore county, a body corporate, of a lot of ground situate
and lying in Baltimore county and fully described in a deed
thereof from Richard Walzl and wife to said trustees, said
deed bearing date August 19, 1892, and of record among the
Land Records of Baltimore county in Liber S. M. B., No. 193,
folio 460, etc.

One Hundred and Five. To the two following deeds to the
Central M. E. Church in the city of Baltimore : (A) A deed
from Gabriel D. Clark, executor of the estate of Emma E.
Clark, dated December 31, 1878, and recorded among the
Land Records of Baltimore city in Liber F. A. P., No. 830,
folio 120, and re-recorded in Liber J. B., 1207, folio 266 ;
(B) A lease from Sophiah M. Tyler and husband, dated Feb-
ruary 14, 1879, and recorded among the Laud Records afore-
said in Liber F. A. P., No. 830, folio 477.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That the sanction and consent
of the General Assembly of Maryland, be and the same are
hereby given, granted and declared to the acquisition by
the several religious denominations or sects, orders or corpo-
rations hereinbefore in this Act mentioned or named, at any
time hereafter, whether by gift, grant or otherwise, of the fee
simple title to the lots of land aforementioned, in which they
are respectively entitled to leasehold interest or less than a fee
simple title, by virtue of the several deeds, gifts, grants,
bequests or devises aforementioned, and by virtue of the
sanction hereinbefore by the first section of this Act given,
and to the holding, sale, mortgaging, leasing or otherwise dis-
posing of the same.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
