Dougherty ; to Saint Josephs' Hospital, nnder the care of the
Sisters of the Third Order of Saint Francis of Baltimore
city; to the Carmelite Sisters of Baltimore city, and to the
board of directors of the Dolan Children's Aid Society of
Baltimore city ; and (D) a bequest of five hundred dollars
to the trustees of the Orphans' Home in the city of Balti-
more, otherwise called Saint Patrick's Orphan Asylum.
Twenty-Second. To a deed dated June 20, 1898, from
Catherine Halpin, of Baltimore city, to the Most Reverend
James Gibbons, Roman Catholic Archbishop of Baltimore,
for the time being, and his successors in the Archiepiscopal
See of Baltimore, according to the discipline and government
of the Roman Catholic Church, which deed is recorded among
the Land Records of Baltimore city, in Liber R. O., No. 1739,
folio 91, etc., and conveys two pieces or parcels of leasehold
property, one on the north side of Chase street, fifty-one feet
westerly from the northwest corner of Chase and Ensor
streets, and the second on Getz avenue, eighty-six feet
northerly from the north side of Chase street, and one hun-
dred and seventy-three feet six inches easterly from the east
side of Valley street in said city of Baltimore.
Twenty-Third. To the bequest and devise under the will of
Christian Christoph Hilleman, late of Baltimore city, deceased,
said will being dated February 25, A. D. 1870. probated
February 23, A. D. 1876, and recorded in the office of the
Register of Wills for Baltimore city, in Wills Liber R. T. B.,
No. 42, folio 268, etc., the said bequest and devise being in
words following, to wit: "I give and bequeath unto my
beloved wife, Anna Hilleman, born Schroeder, also the other
half of my property, but as we are without any natural
offspring, only during the term of her natural life ; and shall
this half part of my property, after her death, be divided in
equal shares as follows, namely : One-fourth part unto the
German Roman Catholic, St. Joseph's Hospital of Baltimore
city ; one-fourth part unto the Rev. Father Joseph Wirth,
rector of St. Michael's German Roman Catholic Church of
Baltimore city, or his successor in office, for the interest of
which, so far as the amount annually will come to, he shall
clothe the poor children belonging to the said St. Michael's
German Roman Catholic Church, when they are making their
first holy communion."
Twenty-Fourth. To the bequests under the will of Margaret
Long, late of Baltimore city, deceased, said will being dated
September 14, 1893, and recorded in the office of the Register
of Wills for Baltimore city, in Wills Liber S. R. M., No.
85, folio 281, etc., as follows : (A) A bequest of one hun-
