dollars, instead of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars, as
the said bill so presented to the Governor should have recited ;
and
WHEREAS, His Excellency, the Governor, approved the
said bill as presented to him containing said clerical error, in
consequence whereof the Comptroller and Treasurer are in
doubt as to the proper sum to be distributed under said Act;
and
WHEREAS, It is proper that the said error shall be corrected
and the colored schools of the State shall receive the sum
actually appropriated for them by said Act of the General
Assembly of 1900, chapter 716, as the same was in fact
passed ; now, therefore,

CHAP. 583.
Prt amble.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly, of
Maryland, That for the purpose of correcting said clerical
error, the sum of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars of
the receipts from the public school tax for the fiscal year end-
ing on the thirtieth day of September, 1902, be and the same
is hereby appropriated in lieu of the said sum of one hundred
and sixty thousand dollars as mentioned in said Act of 1900,
chapter 716, said sum of one hundred and fifty thousand
dollars to be apportioned and distributed by the Comptroller
in accordance with the laws in such case made and provided.
SEC. 2 And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 584.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 249 of the Acts of nineteen
hundred, entiled "An Act to provide for fixing license and
penalties for hucksters, dealers, brokers, middlemen of
unbaled hay, un baled straw, and ear corn by the wagon load
in Baltimore city."

Correction to
be made.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That chapter 249 of the Acts of nineteen hundred,
entitled "An Act to provide for fixing license and penalties
for hucksters, dealers, brokers, or middlemen of unbaled hay,
unbaled straw, and ear corn by the wagon load in Baltimore
city," be atid is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, This Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

Approved April 11, 1902.
