examined
and
compared.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That upon the completion of such
work by the clerk to said Supervisors of Election, as provided
in the preceding section, the same shall be carefully examined
and compared by the said Supervisors of Election, and if
found to be correct copies of the present registration books
and all entries therein, they shall certify to the same under
their hands upon each of said new registration books; and
said new registration books shall thereupon be substituted,
kept, held and used for all intents and purposes provided by
law as the books of registration of the sixth district of
Anne Arundel county ; and the old books from which the
new books have been copied shall be held and securely kept

reference if need be.

Sum of
money to be
paid.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That the County Commissioners
of Anne Arundel county, upon the certificate of the Super-
