CHAP. 664.

ber due for such contribution, verified by the oath of the
secretary of said company, to cause execution to issue for the
amount so due in the same manner as if judgment had been
rendered in said Court for the same, together with all costs
incident to such proceedings. And it shall be unlawful for
the owner of any building insured by said company, or for
said insurance company, to apply by petition in writing to the
judge of the Circuit Court for the county wherein such prop-
erty is situated, to designate the boundaries, and it shall be
the duty of said Court to issue an order to the county sur-
veyor, or to some other surveyor, to examine the building
insured and to make a report to said Court, in which he shall
sufficiently designate and describe by metes and bounds, with
their courses and distances, and by a draft or plat, if necessary,
the limits and extent of so much of the land under and sur-
rounding said building insured as may be necessary for the
ordinary and useful purposes of such building. And such
report shall be entered at length upon the records of said
Court, and if approved by the Court, shall be conclusive upon
all persons concerned.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall be
submitted to the members of said company at their annual
meeting to be held on the second Monday in December, 1902,
and if a majority of the members present at such meeting
shall give their assent, then this Act shall take effect from and
after said date, but if at such meeting a majority of the mem-
bers then present do not assent, then this Act shall not take
effect, but shall be null and void.

CHAPTER 565.

AN ACT to amend Article eighteen of the Code of Public
Local Laws, entitled "Queen Anne's County," sub-title
"Centreville," by adding a new section thereto to follow
section eighty-eight, to be known as Section 88 A, placing
entirely upon the Commissioners of Centreville the duty
and obligation of maintaining and repairing the roads,
streets and bridges witliin the limits of said town, and pro-
viding for a return by the County Commissioners of a
portion of the county taxes annually levied upon the prop-
erty in said town.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and the same is hereby added
