CHAP. 523.

Questions to
be asked.

form set forth in section 15 of said Article, there shall be a
column headed "Party Affiliation," \fhich shall immediately
precede the column headed "Remarks," in said form. And
when any person shall be registered at such general registra-
tion, or at any registration thereafter, it shall be the duty of
the board of registry to ask such person with which party he
desires to affiliate, and they shall at the same time explain to
the voter that such statement of party affiliation does not bind
him to vote for the candidates of any such party, but that no
person who is not recorded as affiliated with any existing
political party, shall be entitled to vote in the primaries of
that party. The voter's party affiliation shall be written in the
proper column, and if in his discretion he declines to state his
affiliation, the word "Declines" shall be written opposite his
name in the proper column. Any registered voter, upon any
day of registration or revision after the next general registra-
tion, shall have the right to appear in person before the board
of registry and require said board to enter, alter or strike out
the name of the party with which he desires to affiliate.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, This Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 524.
AN ACT to repeal Sections 190 and 193 of Article 3 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore
County," sub-title " Roads," as amended by Chapter 685
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
at the January Session, 1900, entitled an Act to repeal
Sections 188 to 217, inclusive, of Article 3 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Baltimore County," sub-title
" Roads," as amended by Chapter 49 and Chapter 679 of
the Acts of 1892; Chapter 447 of the Acts of 1894;
Chapter 469 of the Acts of 1896, and Chapter 309 of the
Acts of 1898, and to re-enact the same, with amendments.

and re-enact

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sections 190 and 193 of Article 3 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore
County," sub-title " Roads," as amended by Chapter 685 of
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
the January Session of 1900, entitled an Act to repeal sec-
tions 188 to 217, inclusive, of Article 3 of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title " Baltimore County," sub-title " Roads," as
