SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That the said company is
hereby authorized to enter into any agreement with any past
genger railway company of this or any other State for the
making of track connections, and to make agreements with
such railways for the carrying and transportation of passengers,
freight and parcels of each over the other; and it is author-
ized to consolidate with or lease other railways, and also to
build and construct lateral branches not exceeding twenty
miles in length.

CHAP. 480.

SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That the said company
is also authorized to borrow money on its property and fran-
chises, and to issue bonds for the payment of the same by a
mortgage of the said property and franchises ; provided, how-
ever, that it shall not issue such mortgage bonds in excess of
its capital stock.
SEC. 10. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 481.
AN ACT to amend Section fifty-nine of Article ten of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Dorchester County," sub-
title "Cambridge," as amended by the Acts of nineteen
hundred, Chapter three hundred and thirty-nine, by adding
a new sub-section thereto, to be numbered twenty-six, and
to follow immediately after twenty-five.

May borrow
money and
issue bonds
therefor.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new sub-section be and the same is hereby
added to section fifty-nine of Article ten of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Dorchester County," sub-title
"Cambridge," to be known as twenty-six, and to follow
immediately after twenty-five, and to read as follows :

added.

26. To borrow money on negotiable paper ; provided, that
the sum so borrowed shall at no time exceed the sum of fif-
teen hundred dollars.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 482.
AN ACT to repeal Sections 113 and 114 of Article 13 of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Harford County," sub-
title "Fish."
