CHAP. 368.

CHAPTER 366.
AN ACT to amend the Charter of the Central Real Estate
and Trust Company of Maryland, a body corporate, existing
by virtue of the Act of the General Assembly of Maryland
of 1898, Chapter three hundred and sixty-nine, entitled
"An Act to incorporate The Old Line Real Estate and
Trust Company of Baltimore City," and an Act of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1900, Chapter sixty-
three, amendatory thereof, under which the corporate name
of the said company was changed to the Central Real Estate
and Trust Company of Maryland, and other additional
amendments were made, by providing that the name of said
corporation shall be again changed from Central Real
Estate and Trust Company of Maryland to Central Trust
Company of Maryland.

Amended.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section 1 of the Act of 1900, chapter sixty-
three, changing the name of the Old Line Real Estate and
Trust Company of Baltimore City, as incorporated by the
Act of eighteen hundred and ninety-eight, chapter three
hundred and sixty-nine, to the Central Real Estate and Trust
Company of Maryland, and otherwise amending its charter,
be and the same is hereby amended by striking from said
section 1 the words "Real Estate" and after the word "Cen-
tral" whenever and wherever the same may occur in said
section, so that the corporate title, name and style of said com-
pany shall hereafter be Central Trust Company of Maryland,
which is hereby fixed and established as the name of said cor-
poration, and by that name the corporation shall have and
exercise all the powers, rights, privileges and functions which
were heretofore bestowed upon or possessed by said corpora-
tion under and by its name of Central Real Estate and Trust
Company of Maryland, and all obligations held by and prop-
erty vested in said corporation under its former name shall be
enforceable and vested in it under its new name, and all con-
veyances made by or to said corporation, and all other Acts of
every nature and kind done by said corporation in the exercise
of its corporate powers and functions under its former name,
shall have the same force and effect as if done under the name
of Central Trust Company of Maryland, and all liabilities
incurred and all obligations assumed by the said corporation
shall be enforceable against it under its new name.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
