Section 103 B. If in construction and repair of the public
roads it be necessary for their proper drainage, it shall be lawful
for the road supervisors and their assistants to let off the water
therefrom upon adjoining lands at such place as may be
proper and necessary; provided, it shall be done with as little
injury as possible to the owners of said lands, and that the
drains through such lands be continued, so as to prevent the
spreading of water over arable lands. It shall also be
lawful for the road supervisors and their assistants to take
gravel and sand from adjoining lands with and by the
consent of the owner or owners for the construction and
repair roads, and timber from adjoining woods for repair of
bridge; for all of which the County Commissioners shall
make lawful and just compensation to the owners if demanded.

CHAP 354.

Proper
drainage of
roads.

Section 103 F. It shall be the duty of the road supervisors
to go over all the public roads in their respective districts and
precinct twice annually, in March or April, and in November
or December, and to open all drains and culverts and turn off
the waters whenever washing or about to wash on or over the
roads.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 355.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
335, 336, 337, 338 and 339 of Article 10 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Dorchester County,"
sub-title "Wild Fowl."

Roads to be
inspected.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sections 335, 336, 337, 338 and 339 of
Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Dorchester County," sub-title "Wild Fowl," be and the
same are hereby repealed and re-enacted, so as to read as
follows :

Repeal and
re-enact.

Section 335. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons
to shoot or kill any wild ducks, geese, brant or swan between
tive o'clock P. M. and seven o'clock A. M. from any boat or
vessel with any gun of any size by use of a flash light or any
kind of a light within three miles of the shore line of Middle
and Lower Hooper's Island in Dorchester county.
Section 336. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons
to catch or kill at any time by the use of nets or other similar
devices any, ducks, geese, brant, or swan within three miles
