ninety of the General Assembly of Maryland, entitled an
Act to. punish any person who shall falsely represent himself
as a member of the police force of Baltimore City, or who
shall wear any of the insignia of office worn by the officers
of said force.

CHAP. 319.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted ty the General Assembly of
Maryland, That it shall be a misdemeanor, punishable by
imprisonment in the jail of Baltimore city for not more than
one year, or by fine of not less than five dollars, for any person
not a member of the police force of Baltimore city, sheriff or
deputy sheriff of Baltimore city, to falsely represent himself
as being such member, sheriff or deputy sheriff with fraudu-
lent design upon person or property, or upon any day or at
any time to have, use, wear or display, without the authority
of the Board of Police Commissioners or sheriff of Baltimore,
any shield, button, wreath, number or any other insignia or
emblem of office such as are worn by the police force; sheriff
or deputy sheriff of said city.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Misdemeanor

CHAPTER 320.
AN ACT to give the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to the deed of a certain piece of
land to the Grace African Methodist Episcopal Church of
Catonsville, a body corporate of Baltimore County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sanction and consent of the General


Assembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby declared,
given and granted to the following deed from William Griffin,
George W. Young and John Burke to the Grace African
Methodist Episcopal Church of Catonsville, a body corporate,
of all that lot of ground situate, lying and being in Catons-
ville, in Baltimore county, which is more particularly described
in a deed dated the twelfth day of August, one thousand nine
hundred and one, and recorded among the land records of
Baltimore county, in Liber N. B. M. No. 255, folio 346, etc.,
and to the holding and disposing of the same, according to
law, by the said body corporate.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
