CHAP. 321.

CHAPTER 321.
AN ACT to authorize the Governor to appoint additional
Notaries Public in Baltimore City.

appointed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Governor, by and with the advice and
consent of the Senate, be and he is hereby authorized to
appoint ten additional Notaries Public for Baltimore city.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
Approved April 8, 1902.

CHAPTER 322.

AN ACT to refund to Reverend William A. Koontz a sum
of money paid in error to the State Treasurer.

Warrant
to be issued.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller is hereby directed to issue
his warrant upon the treasurer, payable to Reverend William
A. Koontz, for the amount of seventeen dollars and forty
cents ($17.40), said amount having been paid by him to the
county treasurer of Frederick county as tax on income of
$870 mortgage erroneously assessed against him for the years
1897, 1898: 1899 and 1900.
Approved April 8, 1902.

CHAPTER 323.

AN ACT to add three additional Sections to Article one,
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Allegany
County," sub-title "County Commissioners," to be known
as Sections 30 A, 30 B aud 30 o.

New sections
added.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That three additional sections be and the same
are hereby added to Article 1 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Allegany County," sub-title "County
Commissioners," and additional sections to be known as
sections 30 A, 30 B and 30 C of said Article number one, and
to read as follows :

Levy to be
made for
each class.

30 A. When the County Commissioners make the annual
levy, they shall specify therein how many cents or the fraction
thereof are levied for roads on each one hundred dollars of
the taxable basis of Allegany county, how many cents or the
fraction thereof for interest on floating debt, how many
cents or the fraction thereof for discharge of said floating
