is fully described in a deed from the said William Mills and
others to the said the Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal
Church at Madison, in the county of Dorchester and State of
Maryland, bearing date the thirteenth day of October, 1890,
and recorded in Liber C. S., No. 14, page 424, one of the
land records of said Dorchester county, and to the deed con-
veying the said lot, in fee simple, from the said William Mills
and others to the said the trustees of the Methodist Episcopal
Church at Madison, in the county of Dorchester and State of
Maryland, and to the holding of said lot by said corporation,
in fee simple, with full power to sell, lease, mortgage or in
any other way to dispose of the same.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 316.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to Leorie A.
Woodland, Solomon Woodland and John C. Meekins, of
Dorchester County, owners of the bugeye Flora M.
Willings, for damages suffered by them by reason of the
sinking of said vessel in a collision with the State steamer
Gen. Robert M. McLane.

CHAP. 316.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the State be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to issue his warrant upon the
Treasurer of the State for three hundred and twenty-five
dollars in favor of Leorie A. Woodland, Solomon Woodland
and John C. Meekins, of Dorchester county, owners of the
bugeye Flora M. Willings, for damages suffered by them
through a collision between said bugeye Flora M. Willings
and the State steamer Gen. Robert M. McLane, which
occurred in the Potomac river on the 16th day of October,
1900. .
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
