CHAPTER 314.
AN ACT to require the School Commissioners of Garrett
County to pay the salaries of Public School Teachers in
said County monthly.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Board of County School Commissioners
of Garrett county be and they are hereby required hereafter
to pay the salaries of the teachers of public schools in said
county monthly ; and that said teachers be and they are hereby
required to make their reports to the said Board of School
Commissioners of Garrett county monthly, instead of quar-
terly ; failure on part of said commissioners so to pay shall
be punished by a tine of twenty-five dollars for each case.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of passage.

CHAPTER 315.
AN ACT to grant and declare the sanction and consent of
the General Assembly of Maryland to the deed, convey-
ance and grant by William Mills and others to the Trus-
tees of the Methodist Episcopal Church at Madison, in the
county of Dorchester and State of Maryland, of a certain
lot of land in the village of Madison, Dorchester County,
Maryland, and to the holding of said lot by the said the Trus-
tees of the Methodist Episcopal Church at Madison, in the
county of Dorchester and State of Maryland, in fee simple,
with full power to dispose of the same.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby declared,
