SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section 1 of chapter 439 of the Acts of a
1900, entitled "An Act to prohibit the taking and catching of
oysters for sale in certain waters of Calvert county," be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments,
so as to read as follows :

and re-enact.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall not be lawful for any person to take or
catch oysters for sale with rakes, tongs or any other instru-
ment, whether in the waters of Mill creek, Back creek or St.
John's creek, in Calvert county, for the period of 'four years
from the passage of this Act, except from lands in said waters
located and appropriated, or which may hereafter be located
and appropriated by virtue of any Act or Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland authorizing the location and
appropriation thereof for the purpose of protecting, bedding
or sowing oysters.

CHAPTER 303.
AN ACT to authorize, empower and direct the County Com-
missioners of Prince George's County to pay John Miller,
Robert Lee Manning and George W. Handy the sum of two
hundred dollars, to pay their cost and expenses in the con-
tested election cases instituted against them by Thomas
Wells, Benjamin S. Duvall and William D. Pyles.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Prince George's
county be and they are hereby authorized, empowered and
directed to pay John Miller, Robert Lee Manning and George
W. Handy the sum of two hundred dollars, to pay the cost,'
charges and expenses incurred by them in the contested elec-
tion cases of Thomas Wells, Benjamin S. Duvall vs. John
Miller and Robert Lee Manning, William D. Pyles vs. George
W. Handy.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
