CHAP. 30.

known as Brinkley's election district, and election district No.
eight, known as Lawson's election district, as now laid down, be
changed, and that the line which shall hereafter divide said
districts shall be as follows : Beginning at the mouth of
Col bourn's creek, and running up said creek by and with the
channel to the head thereof near the residence of Aden Davis ;
thence in a straight line to a lane, known as the Chapel lane ;
thence by and with said lane in an eastwardly direction, to the
Cristield branch of the New Yoik, Philadelphia and Norfolk
Railroad ; thence by and with said railroad in a northwardly
direction to the point where the county road leading from the
"Steamboat Wharf" to Marion station crosses said railroad at
said Marion station ; thence in an eastwardly direction by and
with the county road leading from said railroad crossing to
Tull's corner until the bridge, commonly called "The Branch
Bridge," is reached ; thence by and with the creek or stream
crossed by said bridge, known as "East Creek," to its mouth
in the "Pocomoke Sound."
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of the
officers of registration of Lawson's election district No. eight

to strike from the list of qualified voters on the registration
books of said district the names of all persons residing
within the limits of that portion of said Lawson's district
hereby placed in Brinkley's district, and said voters shall here-
after be entitled to vote in Brinkley's district. And be it further
enacted, that it shall be the duty of the officers of registration
of Lawson's election district No. eight, and they are directed to
forward and give to the officers of the registration of Bririkley's
district No. three a list of names of all persons residing
within the limits of that portion of Lawson's district hereby
placed in Brinkley's district No. 3, which list of names of
persons thus forwarded and given by the officers of registra-
tion of Lawson's district No. 8 to the officers of registration
of Brinkley's district No. 3 shall entitle and grant to the
persons whose names are in said lists the right to vote in
Brinkley's district No. 3 without registration, and the names
of the persons on said list shall be deemed for all purposes
registered voters of Brinkley's district No. 3, which as
amended was read a first time.

Repeal.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect at
the date of its passage and that all Acts or parts of Acts
inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money, not exceeding three
thousand dollars, to purchase and erect at some suitable
