CHAPTER 29.
AN ACT to extend an Act entitled "An Act to incorporate
the Borden Mining Company, passed by the General
Assembly of Maryland, at its December session, eighteen
hundred and forty-six, Chapter three hundred and eighteen,
for the period of thirty-two years from the tenth day of
March, 1902."
WHEREAS, By chapter three hundred and eighteen, passed
on the eighth day of March, eighteen hundred and forty-

seven, by the General Assembly of Maryland, the Borden
Mining Company was duly incorporated by the State of
Maryland, by said name, for the period of thirty years from
said date, with all the charter powers specified in said Act ;
and
WHEREAS, By chapter one hundred and eleven of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1874, approved

March 27, 1874, said act of incorporation passed by said
chapter three hundred and eighteen of said December session,
eighteen hundred and forty-six, was extended and continued
for the period of thirty years from the tenth day of March,
eighteen hundred and seventy-four, and until the end of the
next session of the General Assembly which should happen
thereafter; and

WHEREAS, It being desired to grant said company a further
extension of the life of its charter ; therefore,
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Act entitled "an Act to incorporate the Borden Mining

Company," passed at the December session, eighteen hundred
and forty-six, of said General Assembly, the same being
chapter three hundred and eighteen of said session, be and
the same is hereby continued in full force and effect for the
period of thirty-two years from the tenth day of March, nine-
teen hundred and two, and until the end of the next session
of the General Assembly which shall happen thereafter.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 30.
AN ACT to change the boundary line between Brinkley's
Election District, or District No. Three, and Lawson's
Election District, or District No. Eight, in Somerset county.
SECTION 1 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the lines between election district No. three,
