CHAP. 241.
|
Maryland, as follows, to wit : by Chapter 595 of the Acts of
1880, Chapter 60 of the Acts of 1894 and Chapter 234 of
the Acts of 1896, be and the same are hereby repealed so far
as the same are applicable to Vienna Election District or
Election District No. 3, and Cambridge Election District or
Election District No. 7, of Dorchester county ; provided,
that nothing therein contained shall be construed to affect any
prosecution now depending for violations of the existing laws
of this State or for offenses against the same committed
before the passage of this Act.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from and after the first day of May, nineteen hundred and
two.

CHAPTER 241.
AN ACT to incorporate The Patuxent Gun Club of Prince
George's County, Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

W. Boarman, Buchanan Beale, Richard S. Hill, Blair Lee,
Samuel Maddox, William S. Abert, Francis W. Lawrence,
George C, Lafferty, C. Peyton Russell, Frederick E. Chapin,
John F. Wilkins, James C. Courts, Parker W. Page, John S.
Webb, James H. Hayden, James R. Marshall, William A.
McKenney, Charles H. Poor, Edward A. Mitchell, Philip M.
Prescott, Augustus C. Tyler, Charles Bispham and William
Haywood, and such other persons as may hereafter be asso-
ciated with them, and their successors, be and they are hereby
constituted a body corporate by the name of The Patuxenfc
Gun Club of Prince George's county, Maryland, the purposes
of whose existence are the social intercourse of its members,
their participation in field sports, and their co-operation in the
stocking and preserving of game, birds and animals in Anne
Arundel and Prince George's counties, Maryland. The
principal office of said corporation shall be at Hill's Landing,
in Prince George's county, Maryland.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That said corporation, by its cor-
porate name, may sue and be sued, answer and defend, in any
Court of Law or Equity, and may ordain and establish
by-laws, rules and regulations as may appear necessary or
proper for conducting its concerns, and shall not be contrary
to law ; and the same may change, alter and amend as shall
appear proper, and may have, use and at pleasure change a
common seal ; and generally may do any act or thing neces-
