game in Wicomico county, or any other wild game within the
limits of the said county without first having obtained from
the clerk of the Court of the said county a license permitting
the person named in said license to hunt for, shoot or kill wild
game in said county for one year from the date of the issue of
said license, but such license shall not authorize or permit the
killing of protected birds, or gunning, hunting or killing of
game during the closed season. The cost of license shall be
ten dollars, and fifty cents fee to the clerk for issuing the

shall on conviction before a justice of the peace of the said
county, be subject to a tine of twenty dollars for each and
every violation and be committed to the county jail until fine
and costs are paid. All license money and fines collected
under the provisions of this section shall be paid over to the
County Commissioners of Wicomico county, and be used
exclusively for the improvement of the county roads.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 223.
AN ACT to empower the Mayor and Council of Pocomoke
City, in Worcester county, to contract with the Citizens
Power and Light Co., of Pocomoke City, or the Pocomoke
Telephone Co., of Pocomoke City, Maryland, for the use
of their poles and wires, for the purpose of supplying the
town of Pocomoke City with a fire-alarm system.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

1892, entitled, an Act to repeal section 202 to 215, both
inclusive, to Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Worcester County," subtitle "Pocomoke,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments, said section so
added to read as follows :
