tion may be taken and considered as the security required by
law for the faithful performance of any duty imposed upon
it by the orders or decree of such Court, unless the said
Court shall deem proper to require further security.

SEC 10. And be it further enacted, That the board of
directors and managers of said body corporate shall consist of
not fewer than of five (5) or more than fifteen (15) members
thereof.
SEC. 11. And be it further enacted, That eaid corporation

CHAPTER 142.
AN ACT to revive and renew the charter of and continue
the corporate existence of The Powhatan Tribe No. 5 of
Improved Order of Red Men, of the State of Maryland,
as incorporated by the Act of the General Assembly of
Maryland, Chapter 251, Session 1843, passed March fourth,
1844, and of an Act supplementary to an Act, entitled an
Act to incorporate The Powhatan Tribe No. 5 of the
Improved Order of Red Men, of the State of Maryland,
Chapter No. 129 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, Session 1845, with all the powers heretofore
granted, and to amend the same.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the charter and corporate existence of The

Powhatan Tribe No. 5 of the Improved Order of Red Men,
of the State of Maryland, be and the same is hereby revived,
renewed and continued, under the name of The Powhatan
Tribe No. 5 of the Improved Order of Red Men, of the
State of Maryland, and said corporation to be and it is hereby
continued in existence as a body politic and corporate for the
full term of thirty years from the date of the approval of this
Act, and until the end of the regular session of the General
