seven, to be known as the executive committee, who shall hold
their offices as such for the term of one year, and until others
are elected in their places, and the said committee shall, when
the board of directors is not in session, exercise all the powers
of said board, or so much thereof as the board itself may by
law determine. All elections shall be by ballot unless other-

wise directed by the unanimous consent of all present; and at :
all elections and meetings every stockholder shall be entitled
to one vote for every share of stock held by him, and no
person shall be eligible as director who is not a stockholder to
the amount of twenty-five shares of stock. All vacancies
among the directors, members of the executive committee or
officers of the company, may be filled by the board ; and if
any election required by this section be not held on the date
prescribed for the same, the said election shall be held as soon
as may be convenient thereafter.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 107.
AN ACT to declare the sanction of the General Assembly of
Maryland to certain bequest contained in the last will and
testament of Eugene N. Belt, deceased.

Election to be
by ballot.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sanction of the General Assembly of
Maryland be and the same is hereby given to a bequest of one
thousand dollars to the vestry of Saint Luke's Church, a
religious corporation in the city of Baltimore, contained in the
last will and testament of Eugene N. Belt, late of Baltimore
city, deceased, bearing date the first day of August, in the
year eighteen hundred and eighty-seven, and recorded in the
office of the register of wills for Baltimore city, in Wills'
Liber S. R. M. No. 86, folio 141, etc.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
Approved March 27, 1902.

CHAPTER 108.
AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to the following gifts and convey-
ances to the Trustees of Bethel Presbyterian Church and
congregation of Harford County, and to authorize said
Trustees to acquire and hold more land.
