LLOYD LOWNDES, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.

interest from their date, for the purpose of enabling the said
commissioners or their successors in office, to provide means
to supply said town of Church Hill with a fire department
and water works, under the following provisions, to wit :

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said bonds to be issued
by the said commissioners of the town of Church Hill, shall
be to the amount of not more than twelve hundred dollars, in
eight bonds of one hundred and fifty dollars each, that is to
say, one bond to run for one year from the date of issue, for
one hundred and fifty dollars; one bond to run for two years
from the date of its issue, for one hundred and fifty dollars ;
one bond to run for three years from the date of its issue, for
one hundred and fifty dollars; one bond to run for four years
from the date of its issue, for one hundred and fifty dollars ;
one bond to run for five years from the date of its issue, for
one hundred and fifty dollars; one bond to run for six years
from the date of its issue, for one hundred and fifty-dollars ;
one bond to run for seven years frpm the date of its issue,
for one hundred and fifty dollars; and one bond to run for
eight years from the date of its issue, for one hundred and
fifty dollars; each of said bonds, as they mature, to be paid
by the said commissioners of the town of Church Hill, with
the interest thereon at the rate of six per cent., according to
the tenor of this act, also the interest on the remaining bonds
to be paid annually as it accrues, at six per cent, per annum.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the Town Commissioners of
Church Hill are hereby authorized and directed to levy upon
the assessed property within the limits of said town, annually,
the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars, to pay the said
bonds as they mature, and shall levy annually such an addi-
tional sum of money as will be nece.ssary to pay the annual
interest on said bonds, as the same matures.

To levy tax.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
Approved March 27th, 1896.

Effective.

CHAPTER 88.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commis-
sioners of Montgomery County to pay the registers of voters
of said county for extra services in transcribing the regis-
tries of voters of said county in the year eighteen hundred
and ninety-five.
