WHEREAS, It is the desire of the said trustees and the con-
gregation .who worship at the said church, that said doubts
shall be removed.

Preamble.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the corporate name of the said church shall be The
Methodist Episcopal Church of Cherry Hill, Cecil county,
and that its powers shall be as set forth in said charter, and as
prescribed by the laws of the State of Maryland, regulating
religious corporations, and that said deeds are hereby made
valid to convey the said land unto the said corporation, by its
name in this section set forth, and that the acts of said trustees
not elected according to the provisions of the said charter, as
aforesaid, are hereby made valid as though they had been duly
elected according to the provisions of the said charter.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take ;
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 434.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to aid the mainten-
ance of the Maryland Homeopathic Hospital and Free Dis-
pensary of Baltimore City.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sum of one thousand ($1,000) dollars for each
of the two fiscal years ending on the 30th day of September,
1897, and the 30th day of September, 1898, be and the same
is hereby appropriated to aid the Maryland Homeopathic Hos-
pital and Free Dispensary of Baltimore City, and the Comp-
troller of the Treasury is hereby authorized and directed to
draw his warrant upon the Treasurer of the State in favor of
the Maryland Homeopathic Hospital and Free Dispensary of
Baltimore City for the amount of the above appropriation in
each of said years.
