Term of
sheriff.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the term of office of the sheriff of Harford county
shall begin on the first Monday of January next succeeding
the November of his election.
|
|
|
Term of A.
Cooley.
|
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Ambrose Cooley,
sheriff of Harford county shall remain and continue in office
as sheriff of Harford county until the first Monday in January
in the year 1898, when his successor shall assume the duties
of sheriff of Harford county, according to the terms of this
act.

CHAPTER 430.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 49
of Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Wor-
cester County," sub-title "Birds and Game," and to add two
additional sections thereto, to be designated as Sections 59 A.,
and 59B.

Repeal.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 49 of article 24 of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Worcester County," sub-title "Birds and
Game," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with

New sections
|
amendments to read as follows, and that the following sections
be added to said article, to follow section 59 and to be numbered
sections 59 A and 59 B.

Game law.
|
49. No person shall trap or shoot or in any manner catch or
kill any partridge in Worcester county between the fifteenth
day of , February and the fifteenth day of November in each
year.
|
|
|
Game law.
|
59 A. It shall not be lawful for any person in Worcester
county to shoot, kill or trap or in any manner destroy or catch
in said county any woodcock, between the first day of Febru-
ary and the tenth day of July, and wood or summer duck, be-
tween the first day of March and the first of September of
any year.

|
Penalty for
violation.
|
59 B. Any person, violating any of the provisions of the pre-
ceding sections, shall be guilty of. a misdemeanor, and on
conviction thereof before any justice of the peace of said county
shall pay a fine of five dollars for each and every offense, one.
