LLOYD LOWNDES, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.

137. No person who shall obtain a license under this sub-title
of this article shall sell or barter any intoxicating, spirituous,
vinous or fermented liquors to any minor except upon the

written order of his parents, guardian or employer, or to any
person intoxicated at the time; but any hotel keeper licensed
under this sub-title of this article may sell intoxicating, spiritu-
ous or fermented liquors to all other persons by the drink or in
quantities not to exceed five gallons, but not otherwise; that
said hotel keepers in said Worcester county, licensed under the
provisions of this act, shall not sell nor give away any spiritu-
ous, vinous, fermented or intoxicating liquors of any descrip-
tion between the hours of 12 o'clock at midnight and 5 o'clock
in the morning, and all that part of the hotel or hotels in which
said liquors shall be kept for sale shall be closed between the
said hours of 12 o'clock at midnight and 5 o'clock in the morn-
ing, and shall not be opened at any time between the said last-
named hours of 12 o'clock at midnight and 5 o'clock in the
morning.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all acts or parts of
acts inconsistent with the provisions of this act be, and the same
are hereby repealed; but this act shall not be construed as re-
pealing the act of 1892, chapter 374, nor sections 77, 78, 79
and 80, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Worcester
County," sub-title " Bishopville," nor section 129 of the Code
of Public Local Laws, title "Worcester County," sub-title
" Libertytown."

Repeal.


SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 4, 1896.

CHAPTER 412.

AN ACT to repeal Section two of Chapter three hundred
and ninety of the Acts of eighteen hundred and ninety,
entitled an Act to authorize the County Commissioners of
Caroline County to aid the Delaware and Chesapeake Rail-
way in the construction of the branch railroad authorised
by Chapter two hundred and sixty of the Acts of eighteen
hundred and eighty-six, by issuing the bonds of said county
to the amount of sixty thousand dollars, for the purpose of
