Division of
election
district.

and the same is hereby divided into two voting precincts, to be
known, respectively, as the "first" and "second" election pre-
cincts of the seventh election districts of said county. The
division line between the said precincts shall be as follows :
The first precinct shall be the territory within the following
outlines, to wit: All that part of said election district number
seven as now laid out and established, east of the Hooppole
road and on the east side of Third street, in the town of Oak-
land ^and the Aurora road. The second precinct shall be the
territory of said district, as now laid out and established, on
the west side of Third street, in the town of Oakland and the
Aurora road. The voting or polling place for the said first
precinct shall be at the court house in Oakland, and the voting
or polling place for the said second precinct shall be at the
council chamber of the town of Oakland.

Registration
of voters.

SEC. 2. For the purpose of registration the clerk of the cir-
cuit court for said county shall provide the register of voters
for said district, before the time of registration of voters under
the provisions of article 33 of the Code of Public General
Laws, with two duplicate registry books, for the registration of
the voters of said respective precincts; and the said register of
voters shall, at his session of 1896, make a full registry of the
voters of said respective precincts from the registration book
of said district, allotting such voters to the precinct in which
they respectively reside, by transcribing the names of such
voters from the present registry of voters for said district, or
in case of a new registration under any amendment of said
article 33 of the Code of Public General Laws, then said reg-
ister of voters shall register anew in said respective registries
the names of all qualified voters in said respective precincts,
as shall apply to him and prove the proper qualifications for
registry. In case the said register shall have to make a tran-
script (instead of a new registration), he shall be allowed a
sum not exceeding forty dollars, to be paid by the County
Commissioners of said county, for such transcript.

AN ACT to authorize the Maryland Agricultural College to
convey a strip of land lying along Paint Branch, in Prince
George's county to the Columbia and Maryland Railway.
