SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the clerk of the Circuit
Court for Somerset County shall furnish a proper book for;
registration, such as may be required by law, to be delivered
to the register of voters for said Asbury district, and the said
clerk shall also, at the same time, deliver to said register a
full list, under the seal of his office, of all registered persons
or voters appearing on the registration books for said Crisfield
district; and the said register of voters for said Asbury dis-
trict shall transcribe from said lists and enter in alphabetical
order in said registration book for said new district, the names
of all persons living within the limits of and entitled to vote
in said Asbury district; and likewise to register therein the
names of all persons who shall become entitled to Vote in said
district according to the laws of this State. The registration
for said Crisfield district shall be delivered by said clerk to
the register of voters for said Cristield district.

SEC. 7. And. be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of the
register of. voters for said Crisfield district to strike from the
list of qualified voters of the registration book thereof the
names of all persons residing within the limits of and entitled
to vote in said Asbury district, or election district number
twelve.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 387.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money for the payment of
the children of the late Governor Augustus W. Bradford for
the destruction of his country home and its contents on the
11th of July, 1864.

Effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be, and he is hereby
directed to draw his warrant or warrants upon the Treasurer of
the State for the sum of $30,000 in favor of Augustus W.
Bradford, T. Kell Bradford, Samuel Webster Bradford, Thomas
Mackenzie, committee of Charles H. Bradford, Mrs. Elizabeth
McElderry, wife of Thomas McElderry, Jane B. Bradford and
Emeline K. Bradford, each for an equal share of the above
amount, and shall take their individual receipts for the same ;
