SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Comptroller of the
Treasury, be and he is hereby directed to issue his warrant on
the Treasurer upon the certificate of the president and secre-
tary of the Electoral College which assembles at Annapolis,
Maryland, on the ———— day of December, eighteen hundred
and ninety-six, for such sums as may be due the several
electors aforesaid, their officers and attendants.

CHAPTER 234.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-
section 2 of Chapter sixty, of the Acts passed January ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and ninety-four, sub-section to Section
two hundred and eight of Article ten of the Code of Public
Local Laws, titled "Dorchester County," sub-titled "Liquors
and Intoxicating Drinks."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That sub-section two of chapter sixty of the acts passed
by the January session, eighteen hundred and ninety-four, a
sub-section of section two hundred and eight of Article ten of
the Code of Public Local Laws, titled " Dorchester County,"
sub-titled "Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks," be and the same
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, so as to read as follows :

Repeal.

SUB-SEC. 2. No one shall be allowed to sell cider in said
county except the fruit grower or the maker of such cider, or
regular licensed merchants who have been resident of and
doing a mercantile business in the district at least six months
in which the cider is to be sold, and said merchant shall first
procure a cider license from the clerk of the circuit court for
said county, and shall take the oath hereinafter prescribed ;
provided, that if the said merchant proposes to sell apple cider
in an incorporated town in said county, he shall, before apply-
ing to said clerk for said license, first obtain the endorsement
of the town commissioners of the town in which he proposes
to sell cider, said town commissioners stating in writing that,
in their judgment and belief, the applicant is a suitable person
