CHAPTER 218.

AN ACT to provide for a general Index to the Wills recorded
in the office of the Register of Wills for Prince George's
county, Maryland.

Index to
wills.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the late Register of Wills for Prince George's
county, J. Benson Perrie, shall make a general index of all
wills now of record in the office of the Register of Wills for
Prince George's county, in a well-bound book suitable for that
purpose, to be furnished by the County Commissioners, and
shall receive the sum of ten cents for each will thus indexed.

Approval of
judges of
Orphans'
Court.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That whenever said
index is fully made and completed, the said J. Benson Perrie
shall submit the same for examination and inspection to the
judges of the Orphans' Court, and if they find that the said
work has been faithfully and properly done they shall give to
the said J. Benson Perrie, a certificate to that effect, and upon
presentation of his account for said work verified by his affida-
vit, together with the certificate of the judges of the Orphans'
Court, as aforesaid, to the County Commissioners of Prince
George's county, they shall, at their next levy-laying term
thereafter, levy an amount sufficient to pay said account at the
rate named in the first section of this act; provided, that the
amount so allowed shall not exceed the sum of three hundred
dollars.

Effective.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 219.
AN ACT to repeal Section 8 of Article 7 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title " Carroll County," sub-title " Birds
and Game," as repealed and re-enacted with amendments by
the Act of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
the January session, 1894, Chapter 224, and to re-enact the
same with amendments.
