SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That five members of said cor-
poration shall be a sufficient number to transact business thereof
and to make by-laws, rules and regulations.

SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That the said corporation shall
cause fair and regular entries of its proceedings, and a just
account of all receipts and disbursements, to be kept in a book
or books provided for that purpose; and its treasurer shall
exhibit to the said Annual Conference of the Maryland district
of the African Union First Colored Methodist Protestant
Church at each annual meeting of said conference a full and
accurate report of the state of accounts of said corporation.

SEC. 12. And be it enacted, That all deeds, leases, mortgages
or other conveyances or papers made and executed by said cor-
poration, required to be acknowledged by the laws of Maryland,
shall be acknowledged by the president of the said Annual
Conference of the Maryland district of the African Union First
Colored Methodist Protestant Church.

SEC. 13. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

CHAPTER 217.
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Balti-
more county to grant to the Baltimore Traction Company
and its connections, the right to construct and operate rail-
ways on the public highways of said county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Baltimore county
in their discretion, are hereby authorized and empowered to
grant to the Baltimore Traction Company, or to any railway
company or companies operated in connection herewith, the
right to extend its railways and operate the same upon any of
the streets or public roads or highways of said county.
