LAWS OF MARYLAND.

Baltimore city, and on said Windsor-Mill road in Baltimore
county, and on the road known as the Ridge road in said Bal-
timore county, upon such terms and conditions as shall be
prescribed by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore city,
and the Board of County Commissioners of Baltimore county,
within their respective jurisdiction.

Repeal.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of acts
inconsistent with the provisions of this act, be and the same
are hereby repealed.

Effective.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 2, 1896.

CHAPTER 192.

AN ACT to incorporate the "Trustees of the General Con-
ference of the Methodist Protestant Church."

WHEREAS, It has been represented that the ministers and

preamble.

lay delegates comprising the General Conference of the Metho-
dist Protestant Church, may from time to time receive by
gifts, devises and bequests, grants and otherwise, money, lands
or other property, and become possessed of the same for
religious and benevolent purposes, and they are desirous that a
corporate body be created for the more successful holding,
management and disposition of any property thus or in any
way acquired; therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That Joshua W. Hering, John D. Kinzer, Francis T.
Little, Webster M. Strayer, James T. Lassell, Joshua W. Miles,
Thomas A. Murry and John G. Clarke, of the State of Mary-
land; David S. Stephens, of the State of Ohio, Harry W.
Reeves, of the State of Pennsylvania, Wm. L. Wilson, of the
State of Illinois, Seymour S. Stanton, of the State of Indiana,
Walter A. Bunch, of the State of North Carolina, and Theo-
dore Cochen, of the State of New York, and their successors,
duly elected and appointed in the manner hereinafter directed,
be and they are hereby made, declared and constituted a body
politic and corporate, to have perpetual succession by the name,
style and title of the "Trustees of the General Conference of
the Methodist Protestant Church," and by that name, style and
