CHAPTER 176.
AN ACT to permit the City and Suburban Railway Com-
pany to lay its tracks upon Wilkens Avenue from Baltimore
City limits to Beechfield Avenue, and such other streets,
roads or avenues in Baltimore County, as they shall receive
the consent of the County Commissioners to use and occupy
such streets, road or avenue.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the City and Suburban Railway Company having
already received the authority of the County Commissioners
for Baltimore county for that purpose, be and it is authorized
and empowered to construct and operate a double passenger
railway upon Wilkens avenue from the city limits to Beech'
field avenue, in connection with its passenger railways located
upon the streets of the city of Baltimore. And the said City
and Suburban Railway Company is authorized and empowered
to construct and operate passenger railways upon such other
streets, roads or avenues in Baltimore county, as they shall
receive the assent of the County Commissioners of Baltimore
county; and said County Commissioners are hereby authorized
to grant such privileges unto the said City and Suburban
Railway Company for the occupation of said streets, roads
and avenues.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from
the .date of its passage.

CHAPTER 177.

AN ACT to amend Article eleven of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick County,'' by
inserting after Section 451, under a new sub-title to be desig-
nated "Treasurer," certain additional Sections to be known
as 451 A, 451 B, 451 C and 451 D, providing a County Treasu-
rer for Frederick County, in the place of the Collector of
State and County Taxes for Frederick county, making said
office elective by the voters of said county, and defining the
powers and duties of said office.

Effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Article eleven of the Code of Public Local Laws
