CHAPTER 21.
AN ACT to enable the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore
. city to appropriate money for the relief of the Maryland
N aval Militia.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore be and
they are hereby authorized and empowered to appropriate
annually for the Maryland Naval Militia, any sum or sums of
money not exceeding the sum of twenty-five hundred dollars
per annum.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 22.
AN ACT to give and grant the sanction and consent of the
General Assembly of Maryland, to the bequests contained
in the will and codicil thereto, of Mrs. Laura E. Gray, late
of Frederick county, deceased, to the Vestry of Saint
Marks Parish, Frederick county, Maryland.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the bequest of two thousand dollars made to the
Vestry of Saint Marks Parish, in Frederick county, by the
last will and codicil thereto, of Laura E. Gray, late of said
county, deceased, be and the same is hereby sanctioned, con-
firmed and made valid, and the said Vestry, be and they are
hereby authorized and empowered to take and receive said
legacy of two thousand dollars, and apply the same according
to the provisions of said will and codicil thereto.
