SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he' is
hereby authorized and directed to draw his warrant upon the
Treasurer in favor of George B. Oswald, clerk, for the sum of
sixteen dollars and sixty-five cents.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 112.
AN ACT to authorize and require the County Commissioners
of Baltimore County, to levy a sum of money, to be applied
to the building of a school house at Mount Carmel, 5th Dis-
trict of Baltimore County, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Baltimore county
are hereby authorized and required to levy on the assessable
property of said county, for the sum of twenty-five hundred
ollars, for the purpose of building a school house as herein-
after mentioned, and said sum, or as much thereof as may be
necessary, shall then be applied by and for that purpose, paid
to the School Commissioners of said county, for the erection
of a public school house, and purchase of a lot therefor, as
reasonably as possible, in or near Mount Carmel, 5th district of
Baltimore county, Maryland, the said lot and building to cost
not exceeding the sum of twenty-five hundred dollars.

AN ACT to add an additional Section to Article 1 of the
Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Rules of Interpre-
tation," to follow Section 12, and to be known as Section
