stake on John C. Stone's land, thence south forty-five degrees,
east one thousand and thirty-five feet to a stake in George W.
Rambnrg's town lot, thence south thirty-three and three-fourths
degrees, west five hundred and one feet to a stake in Henry
Johnson's lot, thence south fifty-six and one-fourth degrees,
east three hundred and seventy feet to the middle of the pub-
lic road leading from Middletown to Burkettsville, thence still
south fifty-six and one-fourth degrees, east three hundred and
sixty-six feet to a stake on Henry M. Kefauver's land, thence
north thirty three and three-fourths degrees, east four hun-
dred and twenty-four feet to a stake on the -aforesaid Henry
M. Kefauver's land, thence parallel with New South street in
Middletown, sonth eighty-three degrees, east eight hundred
and eigthty feet to a stake standing west of an alley in said
town, thence by and with the west side of said alley, south
seven degrees, west eleven hundred and fifty-one feet to a
stake on Gecrge I. Hamburg's land, thence south eighty-three
degrees, east three hundred and seventy-five feet to the middle
of the public road leading from Middletown to Broad Run
and Jefferson, still south eighty-three degrees, east four hun-
dred and eighty-nine feet to a stake in the dividing; line be-
tween the lands of J. Herman Ramsburg and Ephraim Mash,
colored, thence north fifty-seven degrees, east five hundred
and twenty-six feet to the middle of a public road, still north
fifty-seven degrees, east twelve hundred and thirty-six feet to
a stake on Herman L. Rontzahn's land and opposite the south-
west corner of William W. Doub's new frame house, said
point being sixty feet south of the south line of the said Doub's
lot. and running from thence and parallel with the middle of
the turnpike road leading from Middletown to Frederick'
City, commonly called the National pike, as aforesaid, south
fifty-nine degrees, east eleven hundred and forty-four feet to
a stake, thence north thirty:one degrees, east six hundred and
thirty feet, crossing the turnpike road aforesaid to a stake
planted on Herman L. Routzahn's land, thence at right angles
and parallel with the middle of said turnpike road at this
point, north fifty-nine degrees, west two thousand nine hun-
dred and seventy-nine and one-half feet to the middle of a
public road leading from Middletown to Harmony P. O.,
thence by and with the middle of said public road, north six-
teen and one-half degrees, east fifty feet, then leaving said
road, north eighty-three degrees, west sixteen hundred and
ninety feet to a stake in Joshua H. Main's lot near the dividing
line between him aud George Ifert, thence south seventy-two
and one-half degrees, west six hundred and five feet to a stake
