A resolution providing for the payment of the Reverend Chaplains of
the House of Delegates and of the Senate for their respective services.

Passed March 11,
1828

Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore pay to
the Reverend Mr Davis and the Reverend Mr. Blanchard,
or their orders, each the sum. of one hundred dollars, for their
services during the present session.

Pay $100 each

No. 35.

 

A resolution, with its preamble, authorising the sale of certain property
in the armories of this state.

Passed March 11,
1828

WHEREAS, it appears from the report of the armorers,
that there is in the aromories of the stnte a large quantity of
property in such a perishable condition, that they will be wholly
lost, unless they are speedily disposed of: Therefore,

Preamble,

Resolved, That the Governor and council be, and they are
hereby authorised to cause all the tents and such other perish-
able property as they may deem expedient, to be sold on the
best terms, and pay the proceeds of such sale into the trea-
sury.

A resolution in favor of the representatives of William Gudgeont de-
ceased, who was a revolutionary soldier.

Passed March 11,
1828

Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore be, and
he is hereby authorised and required to pay to the represen-
tatives of William Gudgeon, deceased, a revolutionary sol-
dier, such sum as may appear to have been due him at the
time of his death.

Pay balance to
his heirs.

A resolution suspending proceedings on a judgment obtained by the
state of Maryland against Roger Hooper ; late of Dorchcster county,
deceased.

Passed March 11

1828

Resolved, That all proceedings on the judgment obtained
against Roger Hooper, late of Dorchester county, deceased,
be suspended: Provided, St, George E. Roberts, as guardian
of the infant children of said Hooper, or the executor or ad-
ministrator of said Hooper, shall pay to the trustees in this
case the principal and all the interest and costs on or before
the first day of January eighteen hundred and thirty.
