for doing all such other acis, and for the payment of all ex-
penses which shall be necessary for opening that part of
Monument-street aforesaid, which is described in the said
act to which this is a supplement.

CHAP, 21.

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That this supplement as well as
the original act, shall not have any force or validity until ap-
proved by the mayor and city council of Baltimore.

CHAPTER 22,

An act to correct an error in an act, passed at December ses-
sion eighteen hundred and twenty-six, for the benefit of Hes-
ther Whitaker, and others, the heirs and representatives of
Alexander Whitaker, deceased.

Passed January 23

1828,

WHEREAS, in an act passed at December session eighteen
hundred and twenty-six, entitled, "An act for the benefit of
of Hesther Whitaker, and others, the heirs and representa-
tives of Alexander Whitaker, of Montgomery county, de-
ceased," the name of William Darne, one of the commission-
ers in said act named or intended to be named, was misspelled,
being spelled Daine instead of Darne, and whereas doubts
may arise in consequence thereof, as to the legality of such
proceedings as may take place under the said act; Therefore,

Preamble.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the said act, and any, and all proceedings that may have taken
place, or that may hereafter take place under the same, shall
be as good and valid to all intents and purposes, as if the
name of the said William Darne had bten correctly inserted
in said act.

CHAPTER 23.

An act to ascertain and settle the salaries of Members of the
Executive Council for the present year.

Passed January 23,

1828.

Be it enacted by, the General Assembly of Maryland, That
each Member of the Executive Council, shall be; entitled to
receive for the present year, the sum of five hundred dollars,
current money for his salary.

CHAPTER 24.
An act to repeal a supplement, passed at December session,
eighteen hundred and twenty four, and a supplement passed,
at December session, eighteen hundred and twenty five, to an
act passed at May session, eighteen hundred and three, enti-
tled An act to incorporate the Trustees of the Westminster
General Meeting house in Frederick county.
