In addition, the following miscellaneous tasks were performed:
Combined the individual sheets of Prince George's County Land
Record Liber B.B. No. 2, 1767-1769, into signatures in order
that it might be bound more readily.
Remounted 16 Thomas Jefferson Letters, which had been removed
for exhibition purposes, into Red Book No. 9, (part 2).
Cleaned and flattened maps of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th districts of
Anne Arundel County.
PHOTOCOPYING
A marked increase was noted last year in the number of
photocopies of its materials furnished by the Hall of Records.
While the total receipts for this year for the combined services
rendered by the Hall of Records exceed that of least year, re-
ceipts for photostating declined slightly. We may look forward,
because of the rapid addition of new records, to an additional
increase in such services. The word "service" is used advisedly
for these copies are furnished at a loss to the Hall of Records:
the money received is deposited in the General Funds of the
State while the materials and labor are paid for out of the bud-
get of the Hall of Records.
