20 FIRST TO FOURTH ANNUAL REPORTS

The original Maintenance staff consisted of the following:
J. PARKER LUCKETT ............................ Watchman

BENJAMIN BROWN .............................. Watchman

CHARLES MCNAMARA................................Janitor

MARTHA SCISCO............................... Charwoman

PERDELLA BROWN ............................. Charwoman

During the first year Mr. McNamara died and was succeeded
by Mr. William M. Cox. No further changes in the staff are noted
until the middle of the second fiscal year. Mr. McGarrow resigned
effective June 15, 1937, and on August 1 following Mr. Gust Skordas
was appointed to the vacant position. During the same year two
volunteer workers, Mrs. Jane R. Moss and Mrs. Ruth A. Krebs, as-
sisted in the repair room. During the prolonged illness of Miss Dob-
bin they became part-time workers. Mr. Luckett died during this
year and was succeeded on January 20 by Mr. Albert Graf.

During the third fiscal year Mrs. Krebs was appointed full-
time Repair Worker to succeed Miss Dobbin, who had resigned, and
Mrs. Moss was continued as a part-time worker in the same depart-
ment; Miss Frances Hamilton Krebs was given a temporary ap-
pointment in the repair room during the course of the year. Another
part-time worker, Miss Teresa C. Florestano, was employed during
the year in the research room as a typist. It was during the fourth fis-
cal year that Dr. Robertson died. He was succeeded June 16 by the
writer. No further changes were made until the end of the fourth
fiscal year when Mrs. Moss became a full-time employee as did Miss
Florestano. Miss Krebs resigned from the staff at this time. At the
beginning of the fifth fiscal year the members of the professional
staff and their titles were as follows:
