In the Baltimore Federal Republican, Dec. 5, 1808,
appeared a notice of the dissolution of partnership of
Kid & Thomas on December 1st; Coale bought out Kid's
share in the firm. "A complete Catalogue of the whole
of their books is now printing, and will be finished in
about two weeks." A "general Catalogue" is referred to
in an advertisement in the Baltimore American, Dec. 20,
1808; and in the Baltimore North American, Jan. 12,
1809, it is advertised as "Coale and Thomes [sic] have
this day Published A General Catalogue, Which may be had
gratis."
